On this picture you can see trio
of (coincidentally) nicely aligned galaxies, located in the
constellation Draco,
all between
90-140 million light-years from Earth: a face-on
(Seyfert type active) spiral NGC 5985,
elliptical galaxy NGC 5982 and edge-on
spiral NGC 5981. It is my second (and
much better) attempt to take a snap of this nice group..
Dimensions: 5.4' x
2.7' , 3.1' x 2.1' and 2.7' x 0.3'
(NGC 5985, 5982 and and 81)
Magnitudes:
11.1, 11.1 and 13.0
Surface brightness': 14.0, 12.9 and 13.1
